CASE:
INFRAERO Airports
The implementation of a financial
solution in a company responsible
for the administration of 63 airports
has to be considered a challenge
and that’s how Salmeirao
Consultants supported GEAC on
yet another project, with different
phases, and clear objectives.
In 1997, an information technology
process of accounting, accounts
payable and receivable, estimates,
projects, funds control, fixed
assets, treasury areas and others,
was initiated integrating the
whole financial area, where the
principal slogan has been “Democratization
of Information”.
The solution was approved by an
airport business analysis, transforming
Salmeirao as a reference of support
and automation in the financial
area for aeronautical companies.
Process analysis, ERP implementation,
customizations, specific developments,
management information, training
and support were some of the services
performed by the consulting team.
In order to have a viable solution,
a Communication network, terminal
server, servers, basic software
and other technical components
were selected so it could work
just like an airport and it means
24 hours a day.
In 2002, owing to the financial
area success, we supported the
implementation of solutions inside
the Billing operational area.
In these case we contributed to
a centralized billing process
of:
Passengers: Departure flight
control of airports administrated
by INFRAERO or not and an option
for bar codes
Commercial: The management
of 6000 commercial contracts and
publicity distributed by different
airports was implemented at the
record time of 4 months.
Airplanes:
Landing bills, permanence, flight
over and other airplanes operations,
allowing to issue detailed invoices
to the air companies.
This
success case is our major reference,
manly as it is a specific area
and shows that Salmeirao Consultants
